Pleasant friendly stay

Liked: Really friendly and kind staff. Room/suite was lovely with all necessary facilities. Location is literally a stones throw away from the beach and i360 attraction.
Disliked: The breakfast was not great which was the only let down.

Not bad, but given the...

Liked: Front desk staff were lovely. Also the location is great - regency square is a lovely part of brighton. The bed and pillows were really comfortable.
Disliked: The room was passable but for the price we paid (we stayed in one of the fancier rooms on the top floor) it was too expensive. The top floor had a strong smell of damp that they tried to cover up with plug-in air fresheners. Couldn't get the TV to change channel, there was something wrong with the remote. We asked them for extra water bottles for the room - which they handed us without mentionning a price. In the morning they they charged is £8 extra. The breakfast wasn't bad but it wasn't quite what you'd expect if you're paying almost £300 a night for a room.
