Caitlin, Phoenix, visiting Rialto Theatre Tucson Mon, 13 July 2015

The room smelled like mildew. The A/C unit soaked the carpet - we couldn't walk on it. The bedding also had stains. The location of the hotel was convenient to the venue.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Mildew; Carpet; Bedding.

Sally, San Diego, visiting Old Tucson Studios Sun, 17 May 2015

Refund requested. Room unacceptable. It reeked of smoke, and it's a smoke free room. Broken furniture, dirty looking! No mention of taking an extra $50.00 for hold, especially after room was already paid for! Nowhere is it stated that $50.00 would be deducted immediately after check in! It only states to show picture ID and credit card for identification. This has caused me an overdraft to my account! I will never recommend this hotel or this website to anyone - I expect my money back!

Disliked: Did not stay!

This hotel sounded so good on the Internet but was less than satisfactory. We had two small kids with us and felt bad about letting them walk on the carpets or take a bath in the tub. I would never go back there again.

Liked: Breakfast was good. Pool was nice.
Disliked: Non-smoking room was ultra smoky. Room was dirty. No wi-fi; A/C was awful.

This privately-owned hotel is in...

Liked: Breakfast was adequate, and the dining room has a nice ambiance. The location of the hotel, a few minutes walk from downtown, is ideal. The pool is large and this would be a good place for families and events such as weddings. Being able to bring my dog was a big plus.
Disliked: The freeway is close, and traffic noise is noticable outside the main entrance at times. It seemed particularly loud in the late afternoon and evening. But in my room and in the hotel's inner open space I wasn't disturbed by it.

Fair - 2.5 out of 5

Passable

Liked: The lobby, the doorbell outside the room, the room and bathroom are decent, the other door in the room that leads to the swimming pool
Disliked: The location, the door from outside to the hotel rooms area stayed open all night (not the safest thing), the parking lot needs work

Poor

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Tired old furniture and fittings. Ridiculous bathroom waterfall type taps that were noisy and use by adjoining rooms kept us awake. The so called ?deluxe? room was nothing short of a disgrace. Should be closed and completely re modelled.
