Hotel is good for a...

Liked: Location and ease of access to old town and the sights. The executive room was spacious and comfortable; the staff were both professional and friendly, especially the bar staff. Large bathroom with bath and shower was excellent. Bed was very comfortable too.
Disliked: I was upset that the pool was not available and had considered cancelling our booking because of this. For a pool only to be open for a couple of months in Summer given hotel prices charged is ridiculous.The room walls are thin and require sound proofing, especially if neighbours are noisy. Storage space inadequate as was comfortable seating area.

Liked: Room was renovated and spacious with a gorgeous view (5th floor). However, you can tell they cut corners with the remodeling to save on costs. For e.g., there were no drawers anywhere in the bathroom or bedside tables, just an empty space.
Disliked: No coffee, tea, or tissues. We asked for tissues at reception and the guy basically said "no" and that was it. No offer to ask housekeeping - nothing. A "4-star hotel" but no tissues anywhere!
