The charming Hotel Torres de Somo is located in the peaceful Cantabrian village of Somo near a sandy beach and only 20 minutes from Santander. Set in the area known as 'Green Spain' due to its lush vegetation and pleasant climate the hotel is surrounded by a spectacular pine forest which separates it from the beach 984 feet away. If you were Spanish your...

Liked: Hotel and pool were lovely.
Disliked: The reception staff did not move from their seats. The waiter/chef in the restaurant was rude and service poor

Liked: Location
Disliked: Breakfast cups were filthy and chipped. Marmalade dregs in jars put. Not enough fresh fruit. Very poor Shower in room plastic curtain floor drenched.

Peaceful location- good service.

Liked: Beautiful gardens, peaceful. A little way from the town centre but only a short walk to restaurants and down to the beach.
Disliked: Toilet stopped working in our room but they quickly moved us to the last remaining room (which was an upgrade). Excellent service from the gentleman on reception to resolve.

Love the area but disappointed...

Liked: Beautiful unique building in great location!
Disliked: Over priced because we booked over the weekend. Staff were not friendly and atmosphere was a bit stuffy. Breakfast was poor especially for the price!!
