Pros and cons

Liked: The decor was good and the breakfast (apart from running out of bacon and sausage)
Disliked: Booked a double but it was two twins just pushed together, not even joined and with separate sheets and duvets. Dirty paint work in corridors. Some friendly staff and some grumpy. A charge to use the spa. The location was a bit in the middle of no man's land. No shops cages or bars very local. But good for connections to trains and no too far from centre

Great place with a chance...

Liked: The room looked nice and was very spacious - even the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Had a nice view outside the window.Breakfast was nice, but not many options and they did not change during our stay.Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Room had no fridge or mini bar, also no kettle ( but I asked for it and it was given free of charge).Room had a wooden floor, which looked good, but some carpet would have been nice ( no slippers in the room).Floor under the bed had not been cleaned for a while, there was dust underneath the bed.

Disliked: Hotel was just a little further away from the centre than we thought but it was still walkable
