Beautiful historical building with modern...

Liked: Beautiful historical building with modern and clean rooms. Nice restaurant on site. We had a large family room that accommodated comfortably our family of 4. Good buffet breakfast.Brilliant location in a quiet area very close to Arenberg Castle, it's park and it's university campus. Free parking available on the street nearby and private paid parking in the hotel garage also avaliable.
Disliked: Just a few small things. All the pillows were thick and firm, not quite our preference.The family room we had was located on the first floor and, because the building is very old, it doesn't have any elevator. Furthermore the stairs are a bit narrow.

hotel was ok, don't expect...

Liked: Room was ok, breakfast was good, location great. Food in the restaurant was great
Disliked: the toilets of the restaurant were pretty dirty

Very good

Liked: Pleasant location, comfortable room and luxurious breakfast.
Disliked: The lack of a proper shower was a bit of a disappointment (only a bath and no room to stand). Boiling your own egg at breakfast seems like a nice concept, but in practice there are too many downsides.
