We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Very clean, decor to a high standard. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Good breakfast but no air...

Liked: The rooms are very clean, despite being dated and old. breakfast was great. Some of the staff were helpful.
Disliked: We had a very bad experience at this hotel. They advertised having air conditioning but when we got there our room was 24 degrees Celsius and the older gentleman at the front desk refused to turn the AC on. Or rather he claimed it was on already and refused to believe us when we said it was not functioning in our room. He also refused to move us to another room with working air conditioning even though there were available rooms on the Booking site. I suspect the hotel doesn't have AC in any of the rooms. We opened all the windows but could barely sleep with the sound of the traffic right outside. Also, the room we were given did not look like the room in the picture on Booking. It was tiny and had old carpeting and the picture on Booking showed a much bigger room with stone or tile floors.

Liked: Breakfast was great, varied and well stocked and regularly topped up - they have a juicer! The hotel is very close to a metro station and nearby nice cafes and shops. The reception staff were helpful, with maps of the city available etc. The room had a high standard of cleanliness.
Disliked: We couldn't find the sheets for the sofa bed, we should have asked the desk but we couldn't call them from the room and it was late. Also there is no conditioner in the showers so if you are going to wash your hair whilst there you should buy / bring some!
