Liked: Great location! Friendly staff!
Disliked: Unfortunately we had the people in the next room that came I. 1:30-2:00 am and were very loud for 45 min. Because there is no staff at the desk at night, there was no one to monitor or complain to.

Liked: We loved the architecture, as well as the history of the building and the neighborhood. The location in the alley made for quiet atmosphere in our room, then at the opening of the alley was absolutely everything you wanted or needed - bodega, abundant cafes and restaurants, pharmacy, gelato, shops. All quality shops, no cheap tourist traps. XXX IV was our go-to for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. We really felt we had immersed ourselves with the locals - always our goal when we travel. Our room and the common areas were spotless and pest free. The bed was very cozy. The staff met every need and special request. We were within walking distance of Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, and the popular spots around the Colosseum. Despite only being the end of April, every place was extremely crowded. We always appreciated coming back to the hotel and surrounding area. So, yes, we liked our stay!
Disliked: We wish we had a room with a balcony but it was not available. But the views out our window of the duomo was beautiful!

Lovely central stay in Rome...

Liked: The location was perfect, very central for exploring. The building itself is very charming, nicely decorated and had a lovely feel about it. I had a single room, which was very spacious with a lovely view. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
Disliked: With it being a very old building, the walls are very thin - I could hear the next room using their toilet and their conversations, which wasn't great especially when they would return to their room late.

Liked: Great location, nice small hotel
Disliked: Poor sound insulation , extremely loud from other guests. We could hear word for word conversations in adjacent rooms at all times of day. Many loud and disrespectful guests who kept talking and laughing all night long. I was afraid to talk in my room as I knew everything I said could be heard in the rooms on both sides.
