Liked: A lovely hotel with good-natured staff. A big comfortable bed, there is no air conditioning, fans provided and thankfully the windows open. It is on a fairly busy tram street, so you will hear traffic if your room is at the front. A good sized room, cleaned everyday with fresh water for chilling in the fridge. Location worked for me & colleagues - easy to get into the city via metro or tram. Breakfast room is lively, and good natured with lots of choices for everyone including some Czech specialities. I was here for work, and it made an ideal space to retreat to and work at the desk or relax. Locally there are parks, cafes and supermarkets.
Disliked: Nothing, but the lack of air-con. A good-humoured staff who handled the international guests very well. Hotel Taurus is an established hotel, rather than a corporate chain - so would be great to see more Czech specialities at breakfast. But thank you for a wonderful stay.

Liked: The room and the services were excellent, breakfast was tasty and the total price more than fair.
Disliked: Ideally I would prefer an A/C in the room for summer rather than just a fan

Liked: Super nice hotel in a good area with plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were just big enough and very cosy. Comfortable bed. Very good breakfast with good options for everyone.

Liked: Room was nice a bit small
Disliked: No AC but we had fan , some rooms are too complicated to get into , taking different stairs and during the night you can hear everything in other room , so I was scared when I accidentally slammed the door

Disappointing

Liked: The employees resolved my demands. Market very close by when crossing the street.
Disliked: The hotel is rated 4 stars, but in my opinion it is a 2 star hotel. No air conditioning, uncomfortable beds, tight and leaking shower stall, and it is also cramped!! Room with a bad odor, Cobwebs on the ceiling, dirty toilet, old towels, and since the room faced the street, it was very noisy from the street and you couldn't rest. These were two very difficult stays. Reserve your parking for €20. The distance to the center is 2.4 km on foot.
