Disliked: Room could have been cleaner. Carpet didn’t look vacuumed. Mattress cover appeared to be torn or old.

Superb

Liked: I loved the view of the river the pool was great the staff was great and it was walking distance to my Venue at the Amalie Arena. I will be there again
Disliked: I wasn't too happy about the $42 night valet parking. I was not aware of it when I booked the hotel. But it worked out well

My friend and I stayed...

Liked: The food and we had a super bartender, Pilara. She was easy to talk with, gave us info about Tampa, recommendations of where to go, etc. She was a great host/bartender
Disliked: If anything it was the aged look of the room.

Liked: Breakfast was delicious. Convenient for walking.
Disliked: The $25 Amenity fee per day per person

Overall we had a decent...

Liked: The location was excellent in relation to the event that I was there for as well as other things I could do. The staff was excellent. My mother took a fall and hit her head. The front desk staff was on top of the situation right away and showed genuine concern for her well being.
Disliked: Though the house keeper did come in every day and make the beds replenish the towels and vacuum the floors he/she never did wash the tub. Also we had to ask 3 times for a shower chair for my mother across a 24 hour period before they finally brought one up to our room.

Disliked: The hotel itself was just okay the rooms are outdated and need a lot of work. Definitely didn’t look like the pictures. The balcony needs a really good cleaning the floor and rails were very dirty

Disliked: The rooms here are very outdated and unclean. I initially checked in and our initial room bathroom was dirty, the tub was worn out, there was rust on the bathroom vent, and the shower head was very dirty. We spoke with the front desk and were able to move to a room on the riverside, but the bathroom was still an issue. There was a leak by the sink and the tub & shower head was still old. They charge $100 per night incidental fee, and for that price we expected better. I would not be booking here, and don’t recommend others to stay.
