Liked: The queen room with private bath is really great for its value especially for the location right on Valencia. There's a tv, fridge, and microwave too which were definitely a plus. They do baggage storage when needed.
Disliked: The window to the street wouldn't shut the whole way.

Liked: Location. We were able to walk everywhere, and union square, and Westfield mall, was a short uber ride away,
Disliked: Nothing to not like. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and quiet this hotel was, we had the economy queen with private bathroom, it was a small room, with heat and a fan, it can get bright at night, due to hotel sign, just bring a sleep mask if it bothers you. There was a microwave and mini fridge, yes the stairs are alot to handle but almost all older hotels have them, it's part of their structure, no elevator, so be prepared, the location was awesome, a short walk to bart, and so many places to eat, try the Bar Delirium for cheap drinks, Total Meltdown for grilled cheese, and The Monks Kettle for dinner, Plenty of Mexican restaurants too! we encountered very few homeless around the hotel, just the usual noise of the city, it was good for a budget hotel, no frills, clean, nice front of the house staff, we will stay here next time we visit the mission district.
