overall very nice hotel

Liked: breakfast was outstanding, room was excellent, look from the window on Frauenkirche was great, personal in the receptio very kind and helpful, great location in the centre
Disliked: the furniture in the breakfast room was a little bit worn out, also space and layout of the breakfast room was disappointing

Liked: Superb location. Very professional staff. There late March, pre-season, and we got bumped up to a slightly higher grade room

Not at all 5 star...

Liked: The best thing about this hotel is location.The attentive service from the the lady who checked us in.
Disliked: Where do I begin? The room is very outdated, the stated ac didn't exist in the bedroom, only the living room. The very old and uncomfortable sofa our 10 year old had to sleep in. The awful matrass in the double bed which we asked to put something on top with little help. The piece de resistance was the fine of 50 euro we had to pay for loosing a small piece of paper with a QR code! for the parking lot a day before our departure (we stayed for 4 nights), after paying to the hotel 29 euro a day for the parking of course. The fine wasn't written on any of the documents we signed when arriving. When I asked to show me the reference, I was ignored rudely.

Liked: Amazing view from the room (we had a view of the cathedral and the square), very polite reception staff
Disliked: in my opinion, the hotel is not 5* at all: small room, quite old furniture, poor soundproofing by the windows, no sockets near the bed, there is a hairdryer, but it is not convenient to use, because it is impossible to do this in the bathroom due to the lack of sockets, in the room near the mirror there are none either; paid minibar for absolutely all drinks, even soft drinks

Liked: The location was great and staff very pleasant.
Disliked: The second bedroom of our suite was awful. The beds had no padding and walls were dirty. I expect all rooms/beds to be of the same caliber when booking a high end suite.
