Disliked: The hotel was nice, in a good location, breakfast was good, but we paid for the accommodation through booking before our arrival.The receptionist pulled the payment together three more times at check-in. It was a mistake on his part, but quite an inconvenience for us. We still haven't received the money from the bank and it's already the third day.I also work in accommodation in Prague and if something similar happened to our staff it would be very embarrassing for us and at least we would try to make up for the inconvenience with some attention from the hotel. Nothing happened here.I would have expected some smart TV or at least more channels in English in a 5-star hotel nowadays.

Liked: The location was convenient for me.
Disliked: There is elevator and the steps are narrow, and there is no staff at all to help you out.The text message help desk is like a chatbot and administrative and not helpful in getting issues with the room solved. Delivering messages to the cleaning people is the full extent of what they will do. When you get no help they will tell you they have conveyed the message and there is nothing else they can do. Zero guest service. You are paying for a number locked room in an old building with a very curt and administrative remote super. The bed was unusually uncomfortable, and all of the pillow cases had yellow stains. A heavy metal towel hanger on the bathroom door dropped on the floor. Overall photogenic but unsafe and wonky and unpleasant.

Liked: The location is ideal. A two-minute walk to main plaza and seven-minute walk to the Elbe. The property has an elegant feel, much like the beauty of the surrounding architecture in Dresden. Quiet and elegant hotel.

Liked: Reception were always nice and helpful. Location is also perfect, it’s easy to go everywhere! Highly recommend
