A nightmare. horrific

Liked: Absolutely nothing
Disliked: Absolutely abominable place to stay. This place is either a scam or incompetent about the hotel business. First, it was not allowing me to check out early, then it listed it had a/c and free breakfast (it didn't), their tv only shows game shows from the 80s. The fan the provided was dirty and did not blow any air whatsoever and it's on a timer. The wardrobe couldn't open all the way because of the nightstand and thus had a noticeable hole in. The outlet was behind the bedf frame which made it in accessible. There was no one at the desk in the morning and I believe a person from the kitchen staff had to check me out (which contained taking my key and telling me I was all good). This place was a horrid experience, if I didn't know any better I would think I caught something from either the amenities or the disgusting fan blowing in my face.

Good choice for city centre

Liked: Great old house converted to hotel. Wonderful location - lots of history, good restaurants, pubs, shops. Convenient to Luas tram and busses. Friendly, helpful staff. We had a front-facing room which was surprisingly quiet at night (little street noise).
Disliked: There is a lift, but it doesn't go to every floor. A minor inconvenience when lugging baggage. Breakfast was unremarkable. If it's not included in your booking, we recommend trying one of the breakfast restaurants in the neighborhood.

Liked: The location was perfect as I had an appointment at the Mater Private and Hotel St. George is also very close to the City Centre.
Disliked: Room No 05 was very clean and comfortable but the access to the lower rooms is a bit dreary

Liked: Staff were all lovely and friendly. Gave us help and directions for where we wanted to go. Breakfast was nice. Good choice of foods.
