Found sex toys in the...

Disliked: We did not have a good stay at St-Denis. I found sex toys in the nightstand – several items, as shown in the picture. It was disgusting! After this, I could not trust the cleanliness of the room and felt uncomfortable staying there. When I went down to the receptionist and showed him the picture, he got awkward and only asked if there was anything else wrong with the room. He apologized and went to look for a new room for us. The hotel was fully booked, but after some time he managed to find another room.This room was much smaller than the one we had paid for, and it turned out it was not even in use for renting anymore. I had the worst night’s sleep of my life at a hotel – the air conditioning was extremely noisy, it did not work properly, and the room was unbearably hot and claustrophobic.The following night they managed to move us to yet another room. However, we never received any discount or compensation for the smaller room, and we did not feel that the service afterwards was good.

Charming little hotel. :-)

Liked: Excellent location!
Disliked: Visiting at the hottest time of year, the air conditioning units in the room are VERY loud. But they work! Bring earplugs, then it’s not too bad!
