Good value for money if...

Liked: We did have an early breakfast on request, and staff was helpful and friendly.This is a decent hotel, we stayed here before.
Disliked: Coming from Reeperbahn on foot was not a good idea, but the hotel area is OK.

Clean comfy hotel.

Liked: Clean, comfortable, friendly staff.
Disliked: Parking was limited and too tight but was safe so its no problem.

Liked: Fab find. Close to all bars and restaurants
Disliked: Area was busy with bars and restaurants but very messy place

Overall a good experince.

Liked: Nice hotel with a very lovely central location, although a bit on the expensive side. The room was nicely clean, though a little small. The breakfast was really good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: However, there was a male receptionist working during the daytime who was not particularly friendly or accommodating. He came across as quite lazy and not very service-minded — which is essential in a reception role. That was the only downside.

A gem!

Liked: This hotel is a gem! The staff is very welcoming, the breakfast offers just what you need, it is clean and the AC works perfectly
Disliked: It is very nice that the hotel offers parking places, but you better be a good driver to manage the parking space. A thing that has nothing to do with the hotel: there is a smell of weed wherever you go in St Pauli.

Home in the heart of...

Liked: Very friendly and helpful reception, quick check in. The hotel is tucked away in a corner a bit of a walk to the underground but close by a great restaurant (Giovanni's) and interesting cafés, Kneipe etc. Its quiet at night despite the lively location.
Disliked: There's a nice selection of excellent South African wines but not really a place to drink it except the garden or the dining area!
