A cosy hotel with great...

Very good

Liked: Great location with several cafes and restaurants nearby. Parking permit only costs EUR 4.5. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
Disliked: Rooms could use some decorations.

Liked: This hotel is a joy to stay at. The staff are attentive, the facilities are spotless, everything works, the rooms are truly wonderful and the breakfast is faultless.

A Hidden Peaceful Refuge Close...

Liked: Spiess&Spiess is located next to a subway station on the Orange line, a few stops away from the downtown of Vienna, in a nice and quiet part of the City. The hotel is very clean and generous with supplements - like carbonated water, coffee, teas provided for free and around the clock. The breakfast is excellent.
Disliked: Everything was great

Good location and very safe

Liked: Location was great for getting around, Vienna is very large and this hotel is in heart of District III, took about a 20 minute walk to get to St. Stephen's Cathedral. Room was amazing and very large, the outside terrace/balcony was shared with neighbors (imagine shape of a U letter) but not an issue.
Disliked: Breakfast was very minimal (hard boiled eggs, bread, cheese, some deli meats, and few desserts), enough to kept you fed but not satisfied. My room had two bathrooms, one with a shower/bath and sink and another with toilet with a miniature sink which felt useless as it was impossible to wash hands without water splashing all over yourself.
