Liked: View, quality and size of room, balcony and bed. Food great
Disliked: Size of fridge in room too small to add own items

It was disappointing.

Liked: It looked nice on the website
Disliked: Lots of stairs for my elderly mother and no lift despite being told there was one and emailing ahead. There was also painting going on right in entrance with no warning. Two bars were closed and this hadn’t been advertised. Overall very disappointing for the money we paid. It was meant to be a special treat whilst my Mum was visiting form the UK. The attached Marlo Spa was excellent.

Stunning hotel and grounds spoilt...

Liked: Beautiful hotel that is very well located. Dinner at Shihuishi was excellent and staff here were great.
Disliked: We booked a water view room and were given a room with a view over the road to the west. Gaslit by the reception lady explaining that even though we paid for the sea view room we should have booked direct and not used booking.com and we would have been given the correct room. Only heard about the “turndown service” from our travel companions, so missed the face mask, chocolates etc the first night. Ordered a cheese platter from room service, waited two hours and despite checking it was coming it never came.

Overall we loved our stay...

Liked: We loved the buildings, location and the room was exceptionally beautiful.
Disliked: Lighting in the bathroom not the best.Breakfast was nice but I thought one slice of toast and no coffee refill was a bit stingy for the price we paid for the room.

Best hotel ever

Liked: This is probably the nicest hotel i've ever stayed at! The room (classic room sea view), was INCREDIBLE! The view was amazing, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, as well as the dinner in the restaurant. The bar is lovely! The staff were very friendly and helpful and were always happy to help. The location is also incredible. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING.
