Very friendly hotel in excellent...

Liked: Great location between train station and town centre/old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely decorated spacious rooms and great breakfast

Good overall, it beware in...

Liked: Location good, within walking distance of station. Older style hotel, rooms a good size. Hotel has character. Lock up area for bikes. Also hotel was happy for us to store our luggage between first stay and second stay (about 2 weeks between)
Disliked: Air con not effective, and room was a little uncomfortable to sleep at night.

Liked: Good location. Comfortable bed. Good variety for breakfast
Disliked: First night couldn’t get air conditioning to work. Reception told us the next day this was because the door to the balcony wasn’t closed properly- would be nice to explain this at check in

An enjoyable stay in a...

Liked: The hotel is centrally situated and within easy reach of the waterfront. I arrived by rail replacement bus at the main station and it did take me a while to find it. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was adequate.
Disliked: This comment is in relation to the room in which I stayed and is not, I am sure, typical of other rooms in the upper part of the hotel. I was a lone traveller and I would imagine for this reason my room unfortunately had roof support rafters running diagonally through it. I had a double bed but should I have been fortunate enough to have had a a room mate she would have been unfortunate enough to have spent her time ducking under the rafters in order to pass alongside the bed and may well have hit her head getting out of bed if not fully awake! A shame as I have nothing else adverse to comment upon.

Very good option for short...

Liked: Very good location near the center, pedestrial center, waterfront promenada.
Disliked: A bit dark inside the room as windows were towards an internal utility terrace.

Very comfortable and no problems...

Liked: Breakfast was good and staff was very helpful.
Disliked: Tissue box in bathroom would have been nice.
