Hotel Skyler Syracuse Tapestry Collection by Hilton

My husband and I stayed overnight and with the many hotels we have stayed at, I have to say, hotel Skylar was one of our favorites by far! Very clean; staff very helpful and friendly; the hotel was close to everything we needed it for.

Liked: The breakfast burrito could have been better
Disliked: The HVAC system was a bit noisy when running, on the picky side the floors squeaked and felt spongy in places both these comments pertain to minor shortcomings.

Liked: The staff were absolutely fantastic.
Disliked: I asked for a quiet room away from any potential noise from the hospital. On the 3rd floor I then listened to frequent helicopters idling on the roof of the hospital with rotors going for 10 mins at a time. Had to check out early in the end as it was making me so anxious. If you’re not going to do daily room service then at least provide a bin of a reasonable size! I’m really not sure what the high price is for. The area is bad. The facilities are bad. The food is terrible. And there’s no cleaning whilst you stay.
