Good

Liked: The location is excellent and really close to everything in Koln including the river, the main sights, and bars/restaurants. It is a short walk from the train station. It did everything I needed for a weekend away.
Disliked: The bed wasn't particularly comfortable. If you have a room looking on to the street it was quite noisy on the Friday/Saturday nights, but then again the hotel is close to the main squares

Liked: Great location, 10 minute walk from train station, 2 minutes into old town, 10 minutes to beautiful park. Good breakfast
Disliked: Rooms tired. We had the room with bleach stains on the carpet, often remarked on in reviews, slightly off putting .

Liked: Location and staff. I got excellent room that after reading all reviews about tiny single rooms was like winning a jackpot. Thank you, guys for giving me the room I got!Breakfast is ok. Not as awful as in other reviews, just a regular one.Amazing location: just in between the Dom and market square.Next to their brewery that is a fairytale place!
Disliked: AC was working strange so I was sleeping with open windows.. cleaning street at 4am...nice and fresh start of the day :)Bathroom needs to be rearranged: it is not small just insanely ordered.Pillows were so thin, like zero.

Short but lovely stay

Liked: The position of the hotel is perfect, it is right in the city center and it is easy to visit all the main attractions. The staff is welcoming and helpful and the room is cozy.

Liked: The front staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great. We had a room with an outside view.
Disliked: The bathroom was TINY - plus the door on the bathroom made any real privacy impossible. Not for the faint-hearted.No facilities in the room for a hot drink. (Kettle and mugs not exactly a big ask.)Breakfast - came down and there were no scrambled eggs left at 9:45. I asked if I could have some (they had a couple of boiled eggs left), but the woman overseeing said 'we close at 10am, so we won't be doing anymore'. For a breakfast that costs €15 I'd expect some basic choice.
