Hotel Sint Nicolaas

Very good location, not too...

Liked: Breakfast, all what you need to start a day. Check-in/out process, Wi-Fi, location. Bed/pillow comfortable.
Disliked: Room 46 no closet or very little possibility to store clochard, cleanness bathroom(shower) could be have been better. Windows not sealing perfectly. Some maintenance required.

Best stay at Central Location

Liked: Location is very good. Close to all things what require. Staff is very good. We checked out quite early before breakfast time. Still they offered and arranged the breakfast for us. It was really nice gesture by staff. Thank you.
Disliked: Nothing

Basic but adequate for a...

Liked: Location very central. The night security guard/porter is very helpful and accommodating.
Disliked: The room was small and basic, with no shelves or draws to put anything in, but did have a small wardrobe which could of accommodated shelves or draws.The Juliet balcony door didn't close properly, being a central hotel. There was lots of noise from outside. Also, a building site next to the hotel, the workman starts at 7am through the weekdays only. Breakfast is basic but adequate and wasn't regularly checked and topped up. The shower was not fit for purpose, and there was hardly any pressure at all.

Disliked: Breakfast could be a bit more diversified, scrambled eggs were over cooked

Liked: Breakfast was lovely - room was comfy and clean, perfect for a weekend away. Great location.
Disliked: There was no fan in bathroom so steam from shower made everything misty. Lighting in room not great

I would be hesitant to...

Liked: Staff were very nice, room was comfortable, lobby was inviting.
Disliked: There seemed to be a problem in the water pipes. Both nights we were there, a loud noise was whining/ droning in the pipes between our room and room 31's, which backed up to us. This went on for at least an hour both times, the second night at about midnight. We had to go downstairs both nights to ask the staff person to do something. The noise stopped but we don't know if anyone did something or not. I wanted to give them a review when they emailed for one, but the form had no place to actually send any comments.

Pleasant

Liked: Great location. Comfortable.
Disliked: Never any eggs left at breakfast even though we got down before 10am. Smell of sewerage in our room.
