Had a very small parking lot.

Liked: Staff and location.
Disliked: Parking.

It was good and would...

Liked: Location was great if you are staying downtown. Urban downtowns are what they are, so take that how you like, but the HS did a good job of providing security (locked parking and key-card entry to lobby, without seeming militant or unfriendly. The pub downstairs is great, and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
Disliked: Rooms are not the fanciest ever, and there was some noise from the pub until 1ish that you could hear if the window was open. Would be less if you stayed on the southside of the building, but the northside was very cool, even on a very hot day.

Liked: The hotel is quite charming, staff is friendly and effective, the pub is a big plus.
Disliked: The area is not the best, and parts of the hotel's appliances have seen better days.

Liked: I liked the old look of the hotel and its location. the staff was accomodating
Disliked: Th corner room was small with narrow walkways in the room. It looked on to the carpark. The floor was slanted.

Liked: A locked parking lot for our car.. loved the decor of the building! Also that we could bring our dog with us.

Disliked: Could probably do with some new carpeting

Unsatisfied.

Liked: Not much to like other than the building having character of you can get passed the urine smell
Disliked: Horrible location, especially on a Friday night. A fight broke out on the front steps upon arrival; and the night life felt dangerous. Room was tiny. Felt old, dirty and uncomfortable.

Affordable and comfortable boutique hotel...

Liked: Very clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Being downtown can have its dark side due to the homeless and drug problems, but that’s everywhere now.
