Pleasant

Liked: The continental breakfast was just toast fruit yogurt. Room we could have breakfast in was really small. Only held maybe 5 tables. I had to ask for a coffee butler twice, jam and peanut butter. Front desk and no one monitored if we were out of anything. Parking is at back of building but another person can park behind you and suppose to leave there keys. We tried to get out Sunday but had to wait till 5pm due to car show over. Disappointed in room cleaning told woman to come back later never did. No tea in room. Room cleaner never had any on her cart. No complimentary water in room either. Building was an old historic building but they need to have more for breakfast plus better parking. I dont think I would recommend to friends to stay there.

Good price, best location and...

Liked: I liked most the staff of the hotel, very friendly, and the location. It was in the centre of the city and few blocks from the TCU Place, where the conference took place. It is also two blocks away from the Center Moll
Disliked: What I didn't like is not related to the hotel. It is related to the city. I don't know why but there are many homeless people on the street. But this is not a hotel problem, it is a government problem. It is a pity because Canada is beautiful and friendly country to visite.

Disliked: No GF options for continental breakfast.

Good

Liked: Excellent location and beautiful historic building.
Disliked: Definitely needs a thorough cleaning. Old musty smell in the room was overpowering. The carpet had many stains and sticky spots. The continental breakfast room has cream coloured upholstered chairs with huge dirty stains all over them, which is quite disturbing for a dining area.

Evidently it?s haunted...

Liked: Didn?t realize it at the time, and frankly I didn?t come across any oddities. But a bunch of locals I was with kept asking how I managed sleeping in a haunted building. I did find the detergent for the linens a bit off putting (too strong of a chemical odor) which is the only thing that disturbed my sleep. The breakfast facilities left much to be desired. Otherwise clean, and the location is good. The pub downstairs was my saving grace.
Disliked: Chemical detergent was too string in the linensBreakfast had slim pickings

Disliked: The ice machine didn't produce any ice most of the stay.
