Basic room.no meal service on...

Liked: Interesting historic building
Disliked: We arrived very hungry at 8pm but there was no food service in the restaurant and no restaurants anywhere near. We were given a leaflet for a pizza delivery place but were told that it would take at least an hour and our room wasn’t really set up for eating in.

Clean, comfortable, with good access...

Liked: The hotel is very clean, and seems like it was newly and nicely renovated. The design of the public spaces and rooms are attractive in an understated way. We also chose it so we could be near the airport for a very early flight, and the hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport.
Disliked: Although convenient to the airport, it is not very convenient to restaurants or shops and the restaurant onsite is limited to breakfasts. It would be helpful if they offered a small retail space, offering snacks, light foods like sandwiches and drinks for travelers who are there in the evening without a meal.

Liked: Really helpful staff especially Madre the receptionist who helped us sorting our bikes out and organising storage for our bike boxes while we were away.

Liked: Staff were exceptional. Better quality than I was expecting for the price. Transfer was on time and very friendly.

Liked: The room smelt of cigarette smoke. The balcony we had drinks on had cigarette butts and rubbish lying on the ground. The entrance to the accommodation needed a good clean and rubbish picked up.

Pretty funny!

Liked: Interesting experience, hotel was enormous, super convenient for arriving late on a flight and getting sleep before heading to bilbao in the morning. Great value for money, our room was almost as big as a tennis court with views across the whole valley. Only warning is that uber doesn’t seem to work there and the cab company recommended by reception is really expensive €30 for about 6 min ride.
