French hospitality at its best

Liked: This is a ten room family run hotel. You can hear the bells from the clock tower in the old town, it's that close. The room is serviced each day and the air con is efficient and whisper quiet. This is not a five star hotel but is full of rustic French charm. The owner is very helpful in relation to things to see and do both locally and out and about.
Disliked: There are two large keys. I took the one for the front door with me but hid the room key to save carrying it around. The ensuite was small in my single room and the toilet was too close to the wall to be comfortable but you don't sit there all day.

Liked: Amazing personal service on arrival, the most cosy hotel we've ever been.The owner was kind enough to give a recommendation for a place to eat with really good affordable food and explained the multiple sights to be seen.Worth another visit.

Disliked: barroom is in the room literally , like builded after the rest of the room and it was very awkward to use it having your partner in the bed few centimeters from youbreakfast was good , but we found later it wasn’t included and cost a bit anyway : position , management and open space for breakfast will balance above issues .

Liked: Excellent location. Within a few minutes walk of Nostradamus house. Castle. Clock tower Outstanding view of these landmarks from my room which was cosy super clean quiet and comfortableSmall but as per single room booking and very good value for money Lovely courtyard and first floor balcony area. Suggest should be smoke free. Highly recommend
Disliked: Had arranged to leave my bag before check in but was made to feel very unwelcome and rushed to take my pack off. Not pleasant. Was apprehensive about coming back for check in but was warmly welcomed by man. Very helpful. Would still highly recommend

Nice and friendly hotel in...

Liked: Nice terrace and garden, especially on a hot summer day in a city. Friendly helpful host.
Disliked: Aircon from another room was hanging outside at the wall right under the window in our room,making noise all night. And we had to sleep with open window, as our room didn’t have an aircon.
