It was okay, nice staff...

Liked: The staff was very nice. The room was fairly large, and the beds were comfortable enough. The location was fantastic, about a 10-minute walk from the central station, located in a fairly quiet neighborhood.
Disliked: For the price of the hotel room, which we paid approximately $275 per night, the shower was not working very well, and the water was not hot at all, just lukewarm. We let the hotel know, but they tried to fix it, but didn't fix it, so we ended up taking two days of cool showers. The only thing they compensated us for was giving us two free drinks. Unfortunately, my husband caught a cold from taking cool showers, which made our stay feel less pleasant.

Great hotel at a great...

Liked: Great hotel, quietly located at the northern part of the canals. I had a spacious room, and the staff was friendly and helpful. There's no gym, and breakfast is served on order in advance, so it was a great excuse to work out at a local gym and pick a local place for breakfast every day. Overall, highly recommend.
Disliked: The bed wasn't great. They connected 2 beds together, and the mattresses weren't the best, but that's it.

Quiet and convenient location with...

Liked: The staff was very friendly & helpful. Hotel was on 2 canals close to Jordaan/restaurants/Anne Frank Annex(5min walk), museum campus (30min walk) and Central station/public transportation (10min). Very quiet, local neighborhood just outside of touristy area. Great bar area in hotel that also serves breakfast & we had a fridge. Highly recommend when traveling with family!
Disliked: It was perfect!

Liked: Good location and comfortable rooms. It was slightly expensive for 2 nights stay, but I guess that's everywhere in Amsterdam. Overall a very good experience!

Best stay imaginable!

Liked: I don't know where to begin.  This was the most exceptional stay.  Equal only to one other hotel stay in all my decades of travel!1) location was superb! You are very close walking distance to all the major locations in old town Amsterdam. Maybe a 7 minute walk to the Ann Frank house. A five minute walk to several notable museums.  A 10 minute walk to the castle.  A 10 minute walk to the red light district, if that's your interests.  A 3 to 5 minute walk to Iincredible restaurants.  A 7 MINUTE WALK TO AND FROM THE TRAIN STATION.2) the canal is directly in front of the entrance to the hotel, allowing you to enjoy breakfast and coffee while watching boats and people go by.  They had two bikes ready and available for use which made travel even easier to the outskirts of old town, and into modern Amsterdam.3) The rooms are so quite!  It's as if they are sound proof from entirety of the world, except your noisy trip partner. They are so much larger than the normal hotels in Europe.  There was two full large closets several dresser drawers and the decor was a  wonderful romantic avant-garde style with beautiful tapestrys and decotr, that not only ignited your senses but caused instant relaxationand curiosityat the same time. It was a room inspired to elicit dreaming.  It was so lovely, you couldnt help but smile because you had entered a real life wide awake magical dream. The beds were superb!  The mattresses where so soft and so comfortable, it felt as thorough you were being swadle.and cradled while you slept.  You became so relaxed and  felt so safe, you could only dream of pleasant things, until you nosing snoring menopausal neighbor began her nightly sequence of sleeping noises.  I'll never travel with her again! Back to the topic at hand.  The sheets were so soft, and the pillows were picked with perfection .  The pillows were not too dense, not too soft and again, left your head feeling like you were being cradle by a loving person.
Disliked: I would recommend Uber if you are not walking from thebtrsin. It was €15.vs €35 euro by taxi
