Everything was perfect, including watching...

Liked: Excellent property in perfect location for the eclipse
Disliked: Price inflated for the eclipse

Pleasant

Liked: Location was perfect for eclipse viewing. Staff was friendly. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The thermostat & temperature were great. Room was clean and in good repair. The food & drink offered in the Great Hall were very nice.
Disliked: The king-bed room & bathroom were very, very small, not unexpected in an historic hotel, but really: very small. And the jump in price from when we made the reservations was appalling.

Staff was absolutely wonderful

Liked: Staff was great. My granddaughter loved it.
Disliked: For off season. Price per night was very high. 350.00 was excessive. And breakfast should have been included. I am a Hilton member and no discount. AARP member no discount. AAA member no discount. Loved the hotel. But for off season to high and no discounts

Overall a very nice hotel

Liked: The hotel overall was very nice and the lounge and facilities were very nice
Disliked: Check in staff manager was a little rude
