Beautiful old hotel in a...

Liked: Location was amazing. Very central. Room was very large for a city break hotel and the twin room was like a suite in that it had a single room plus a double room with lounge area which we loved. The hotel had a very old feel about it still, in that it reflects the era that it was built and hasn't been messed around with too much which I liked.Ultimately I felt that we were left alone to do our thing and I liked that. The staff were there if and when we needed them and in all cases they were efficient.
Disliked: We had two rooms. The twin was at the front of the hotel. It was a little noisy in that the trams ran quite literally outside the front door.

Liked: Location was excellent and there were a good choices for breakfast.
Disliked: Beds could have been more comfortable. Mattress and pillows were a little hard.

The stay was comfortable, adventurous...

Liked: Great location, could walk to most of the places of interest. The room was spacious and comfortable. I am quite particular about cleanliness and I found it very clean. Very nice stay.
Disliked: Pillows!! Sorry, but pillows were very uncomfortable for me! But that's me, my family was fine.

Disliked: Breakfast is a little overpriced, but plenty of options nearby
