Great location, phenomenal staff and...
Liked: Darien and Cole at the Front Desk were terrific. Valet staff was great too.
Disliked: Room size is just too small for my liking. The slowness of the single elevator was a little unexpected.

Sufficient for overnighters.
Liked: Great restaurant across the way. Joe's; Great location for walking and shopping.
Disliked: Cramped Elevator, although unique to the style of the hotel but not the best to maneuver luggage and/or carts in; Room was quite cramped as well. Better be on good terms with your partner or it could be a bit uncomfortable to deal with. First time at this hotel. I was not really impressed, but everyone has their own comfort level of stays. This is just an opinion.

Liked: Location, location, location. The property is easy walking distance to the pier, loads of restaurants and coffee shops. The valet parking is efficient and the valets are friendly. The rooms are very quiet. The hotel staff are helpful with recommendations and check-in/out were quick. They had fresh cookies in the lobby on weekday afternoons -sweet touch!
Disliked: The pillows are way too fat/big and weren?t comfortable for me. And they only provide two bath towels for the room and we had two adults and could have used four. That seemed silly not to provide a couple more towels when requested.

Location, quality and value; Would...
Liked: Walking distance to coffee shop, restaurants and also to the beach; attentive staff
Disliked: Rooms overlook AC and center roof; can get noisy with restaurants just down on ground level

It was fine. It wasn't...
Liked: The location was great although, the closest bike rental shop I could find that rented out non-electric bikes was about 1 1/2 miles away via seedy sections of town. All of the electric bike shops nearby must assume that nobody wants to ride an actual bike and get a little exercise? The restaurant this hotel uses for ordering meals in (Joe's Cafe) is fantastic. The lobby was pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The service at the front desk was good.
Disliked: The elevator wasn't working, and I received a notice about that a few months ago. But how long does it take to fix an elevator? The two people I asked at or near the front desk where the elevator was didn't even know the elevator was broken. They kept pointing to a gold door that was closed and didn't budge. I was on the 4th floor so that wasn't fun to go up four flights of steps but as I said, I already knew about it before I arrived so it wasn't a big deal. There was no lotion in the bathroom. The coffee maker didn't work unless you slammed the top shut really hard or more than once. I learned that after having to call down to the front desk. I also called the front desk to request extra bottles of water be brought up. Whoever brought them up ended up putting them in a bag and then placed this on top of my suitcase, which I wasn't going to see until I packed the next day so this was a bit odd since they didn't put them in an obvious place where I'd see them right away. I had to call down again to request water not knowing they had already brought it up. The room decor seemed old fashioned and not up to date, and the colors were putrid. All of this was not a big deal though and perhaps, not even worth mentioning. Overall, I had a nice stay.

Good location, but old hotel.
Liked: Good location, staff are nice.
Disliked: No windows, no fresh air in the room. It smells moldy. No breakfast due to Covid.
