Disliked: They don't even have a fridge in their rooms. I really had bad time there.

Disliked: Wifi didn't work at all! And it seemed that they didn't much effort to fix the problem. The shower would get super hot at times. Not accessible outlet to charge devices.

REASONABLY PRICED HISTORICAL HOTEL TO...
Liked: GOOD LOCATION. APPROX. 20 MINUTES BY LIGHT RAIL FROM AIRPORT FOR ONLY US$2. 1 OR 2 BLOCKS AWAY FROM LIGHT RAIL STATION. 3 BLOCKS AWAY FROM PHARMACY WHERE YOU CAN BUY DAILY PRODUCTS, SUCH AS WATER, BEER, SANDWICHES, POPS AND CANDIES, AT REASONABLE PRICES. THERE ARE NICE RESTAURANTS OR BARS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. THE PHOENIX CONVENTION CENTER LOCATES 4 BLOCKS AWAY; EASY TO WALK.
Disliked: THE TEMPERATURE OF AIR CONDITION CANNOT BE CONTROLLED. IT CAN BE ADJUSTED ONLY OPEN OR CLOSE VENT ON THE WALL. NO REFRIGERATOR, NO ELECTRICAL POT TO BOIL WATER IN THE ROOM. THE WALL OF ROOM IS THIN, YOU CAN HEAR SNORING THE NEXT ROOM.

Bumpy start, scalding shower, historic,...
Liked: Great Location. It is within walking distance of numerous attractions and excellent restaurants. I was close to the convention center and City Center Mall as well. The hotel was clean and a neat historic site.
Disliked: I had changed my reservation on booking.com and the staff members failed to change it in their system. As such, I was marked as a "no show" and charged for a 3 night stay. The room I had initially reserved was even booked for someone else. It took over an hour to get this sorted out, I even had the original confirmation emails stating my booking was changed and correct. I was passed over to book other guests and had to wait, all I was told was "the staff member that did this would be strongly reprimanded". Not one concession was given. I understand things happen, however I was taught to make things right, you try and exceed expectations, not merely concede to the bare minimum. FYI, the shower WILL scald you each time a toilet is flushed. However you quickly learn to listen to the change in pitch of water coming out of the shower, and as such get a brief warning before the water temperature rapidly spikes.

Very positive. Would definitely recommend!
Liked: The first room was not great so I asked for another which I got. The staff was accommodating, friendly, informative, helpful, and available. Cecy especially was wonderful There was also a young man with an accent working Wednesday afternoon who gave me directions back to the hotel from the literail. He was very nice and very helpful! When I go to the hotel we laughed about my lack of sense of direction!!
Disliked: At first I was annoyed there was no HBO or STARZ or other cable channels. But then I thought that the reason there were so may channels showing old shows and movies, that maybe the thought was to keep it with the feeling of the historic hotel. So I got used to it! Saw a few older movies I really enjoyed!
