Liked: The hotel was next door to the Aldgate station which was very convenient. The room was a good size, very clean and quiet. We had a room on the 12th floor which made for lovely views. The staff were courteous and helpful and we could check in early which helped after a long flight
Disliked: Nothing

Fire hazard??

Disliked: We had to move rooms twice, and I think the building is a fire hazard. There was a high heat buildup behind the mirror two bathrooms. The manager came to the room when I complained about the temperature of the mirror and immediately said it was the light around the small makeup mirror and then retracted that as the cause when he realized that is a battery operated light. I think management and maintenance need to get their heads together to explain why bathroom mirrors in 2 of the 3 rooms were almost too hot to touch. Find the cause and prevent a fire. First room was 225, second room was 520, third was 321. Also, the bathroom door in 321 would not close all the way, so there was no privacy.

Liked: Great location. Large rooms. Comfy bed. Nice shower room and toilet. All clean and tidy.I Good service from staff. This is the third time that we've used this hotel when staying in London.We particularly liked the location as it's a few steps from Aldgate station. We also caught the buses, which ran from the stop opposite. Ideal for walking from hotel to the Tower area, Spitalfields, etc.
Disliked: Our only minor criticism was that we booked a double room. We arrived early before check-in time, and to accommodate us, they gave us a room early that turned out to be a twin bed room, not a double room.. but everything else was great.
