Liked: Amazing location, very central with a beautiful walk down to the port.Incredibly accommodating staff - I extended my stay an extra night whilst there and they were so graceful with any requests.

Gem, very French, location great....

Liked: The staff are fabulous, we loved staying there. Mellisa was the lady we were waited on the most. Fabulous lady as are all the staff. Couldn’t praise them enough. Lovely court/square where hotel guests and locals enjoy a coffee or a chilled drink in the sunshine. Very relaxed way of life. We would stay here again in a heart beat.
Disliked: You do need to be vigilant with your bags and keep alert for pickpockets in side areas away from the hotel.

Friendly, clean hotel on the...

Liked: The rooms were clean and the air conditioning was excellent. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast is lovely and the bar has great wine. The view from the hotel rooms is pretty and it’s a short walk to the old port and Opera area.
Disliked: The hotel is right on the edge of a rough area. We were warned by several people on arrival (including the receptionist) not to walk on the streets behind the hotel, just to go forwards towards the old port. This was disconcerting and made me worry for my elderly parents and myself (younger female). It was also very noisy - the windows are old and pretty but not double glazed so you hear everything - from people in the street to the bin lorry at 4am. Even with earplugs it was loud so that was a real shame.

Adequate for a few nights...

Liked: The breakfast was very plain and different from other hotels I have stayed in. There is very little choice and it is served from within a small area of the bar.
Disliked: The noise! The hotel is located on the front street and there is so much noise. Woken everyday at 5am with outside activities.
