Liked: Great staff and delightful owner. Some building work in the gardens but I really appreciated the owner taking the time to explain the plans and the background. A lot more exciting archeological finds to come.

Good hotel, great location -...

Liked: Spacious room, very comfortable bed and pillows, which is rare. Large windows and lots of light. There is a big mirror. Nice interior. Spacious bathroom. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. This is the first time I've seen a disposable sleep mask in a hotel of this level - very good!
Disliked: Unfortunately, at the time of our stay, construction work was taking place outside the hotel under our windows, which began at 7:00 in the morning. This caused great discomfort, since the room was on the second floor. Such nuances need to be resolved with the city authorities, since this affects the reputation of the hotel. Unfortunately, we were not offered an alternative, since we clarified in advance, considering that we stayed at the hotel for a special occasion. Therefore, there is no isolation. The lack of any greeting card and free water was also disappointing. We had to look for a supermarket in the city. The room does not have a heater in the bathroom - it was needed for personal needs. There is dust in some places and plaque on the tiles in the bathroom. It was also impossible to adjust the volume on the TV.

Liked: Excellent location for ease of siteseeing. Rooms were well equipped and clean. Breakfast was good quality, my son especially liked the waffle machine
Disliked: The renovation work was noisy in the mornings - but we did know about this before booking, so can't really complain. Great to see the hotel adding parking as part of the reno work as the current parking available is limited and a tight squeeze.

Disliked: The tub is very high to step over and the tub floors are very slick.. would hate to fall.

Liked: Everything - the location, the cleanliness, the outstanding breakfast, the very comfortable bed.
Disliked: There was absolutely nothing to dislike (and I am discerning).
