Hotel Rubens-Grote Markt

Simply marvelous.

Liked: Lobby space was open and airy and the morning breakfast was very nice with a number of options Plus, excellent location in the heart of central Antwerp.
Disliked: Everything was likeable.

Liked: Location of hotel, breakfast was good and fresh product. Staff was helpfull
Disliked: Bathroom is too small for two persons. Only one sink and quite narrow.

Liked: The accommodations were good. Nice bedding and mattress, the bath was well appointed. The room was888 very clean and newly renovated. The location was great. There is continuing construction, but we were out all day and were not effected by it.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Perfect location - central yet quiet, beautifully furnished and clean rooms, very good breakfast, friendly staff
Disliked: Our room was a bit small

Amazing hotel in a great...

Liked: Amazing hotel in a great location, everything was perfect, from comfort, cleanliness, friendly staff and it located in the old city. No car is needed once you are there, you just walk through the cute alleys of the city which is very beautiful.
Disliked: everything was great

We would stay at Rubens-Grote...

Liked: Comfortable room in great location. Breakfast was best this vacation. Staff very professional. While property warned of the possibility of construction noise associated with expansion, we never heard a thing.
Disliked: Not the fault of the property - but if you are driving to the hotel you may experience road blocks associated with construction projects in the city. We were delayed but eventually figured it out. Staff advised their experience is that Waze is best at generating routes that take current road construction projects into account.

Nice stay

Liked: The room size and the location
Disliked: There was a renovation in the hotel and they worked early morning with the noise and nothing mentioned in booking, also the “garden view room” is technically a work zone view it was full if the bricks and the work men.The sewerage smell was very bad in the hotel.
