Liked: The position was perfect and the room was very spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful
Disliked: The lighting in the room was kinda bad, the room keys stopped working after a day and the bathroom wasn't exactly great

Not worth what they charge

Liked: Location wasn’t as close to downtown as we’d like but it was within a 5 minute drive to downtown Royal oak
Disliked: It is a no tell $45 a night motel remodeled and covered up to be a $240 a night “hotel” but you can still tell it’s a $45 a night motel no matter what they charge

Don’t let the dated look...

Liked: It was convenient to where we needed to be. The staff was friendly and communication was clear. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Water was hot and the shower was nice.
Disliked: I can’t say there is anything I didn’t like.

Disliked: Dropped my soap under the sink and an empty beer can rolled out…. Wasn’t drinking beer

Liked: Very modern and neat. Very clean and extremely up to date.

Liked: We have stayed here many times. The facilities are always welcoming and clean. The location is awesome especially for seeing a show at the Royal Oak Theater; it's within walking distance. I love the decor, the common area for people to gather and its clean.
Disliked: We weren't able to watch TV. I called the front desk and a HDMI cable was missing. Once that was installed the TV worked for a few minutes then no sound. Bummer.

Liked: Easy check in. Good location. Spacious rooms and great value.
Disliked: A little loud at night - we could easily hear people outside or carts being pushed around. The smell of the cleaners used in the room was overpowering when entering the room... but at least we know it was cleaned!
