Superb

Liked: Hot water in this room was great. Got hot very quickly and pressure was high
Disliked: The walk to our room was crazy, but we loved it

Historic hotel on Royal and...

Liked: The hotel was very accommodating to hold our luggage for us so we could wander around for the day and then check in. The room was comfortable. The bathroom and room were both clean. I really liked the outlets near the bed. There were many and also some USB C options. I loved the slanted floor that made us feel like drunken sailors when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Disliked: The room was very noisy being a balcony room on the street (St. Phillip). It is also not a very dark room. Luckily I bring earplugs and a mask. The added bonus of painters in the area outside the room patching and painting early in the morning was not great. In addition the sink drained very slowly so I removed the plastic ring, hair, plastic cap, and other items clogging it up with my tweezers and then doused my tweezers in alcohol. Ick!

Liked: The property is beautiful. The high ceilings and the beautiful room was a dream. The guest service gentleman that was on staff at check in was amazing and so helpful.

Disliked: Well I Was Surprised with a Deposit of 275.00 when I walked it which shocked me because the money I put down for deposit was some of my savings for the trip, No Microwave or refrigerator in Rooms, The vent In the bathroom Most Definitely sucked because the steam in the Bathroom was Terrible after showering and Bathing, it Rain the day before leaving and water from the rain dripped all on my suitcase from window dripping and it was close I mean I would Never Spend money on the Money hungry place oh yes I cannot forget about No Elevators And I have problems with my knees and we had lots of heavy luggage up and Down those stairs were Awful, it’s definitely not a place for the Handicapped and that’s very sad, NEVER EVER AGAIN‼️

Hotel Royal made our time...

Liked: Perfect location! The room was the perfect size for us. The concierge was super helpful. We didn’t arrive until after 11pm but he was waiting, got us checked in, took us to the parking lot and even carried my suitcase for me. Will definitely stay at Hotel Royal the next time we are in NOLA. Also, the balcony!!!
Disliked: The shower water never got hot.

Comfy stay in the centre...

Liked: Location was perfect with parking available. Staff very friendly and helpful
Disliked: We stayed in a petite room which had very little storage space and no window which we weren't aware of before our stay. First night was very cold as air conditioning vent is directly above the pillows on the bed and we couldnt change the temperature. Also no bar at the hotel, although booking.com advertises that there is one which is one of the reasons we booked
