The hotel provided very good...

Liked: All the staff I encountered were excellent - friendly, helpful and cheerful. The wi-fi was strong and reliable.The en-suite, although quite cramped, was satisfactory and the shower was excellent.Value for money was good.
Disliked: The location was the biggest negative. It was a very long walk, mostly on cobbles or uneven paving, to reach the centro storico. The location, close to Porto Nuovo, was quite intimidating, especially in the evenings, with large numbers of youths milling around. It could often feel threatening. However, there were plenty of decent restaurants within easy reach and, of course, the railway station and Metro stops.
