A great place to spend...
Liked: The location near the Zocalo is near perfect. Restaurants and stores are nearby as well as many touristic points of interest. The room had very little noise for a hotel in the middle of the city. Some have said that the Internet was lax but I had no trouble whatsoever. The restaurant next door is very nice and serves great breakfasts and dinner too if you have the need. Locations near the Cathedral and the Alameda Park are all within walking distance.
Disliked: Nothing was wrong with my stay. I would stay there again.

Get what you pay for,...
Liked: Great internet, soft bed.I am not sure the linens were cleaned as often as Id like though (maybe they were washed too often that they were orenge-y Grey??)
Disliked: No kne even remotely spoke English, I am not expecting much but A1- B1 level would be nice jn case there are problems.2 nights in a row cochroaches. I can deal with little ones and I know Mexico is subtropical. But I have arachnophobia and detest bugs. This 5 cm- size was too big for me to deal with and had two mental break downs and 2 sleepless nights. It really spoiled the whole trip

Passable
Liked: I did like the air condition which was quite silent.Location is good for visiting the historic center, there many site sites located nearby, however I was told by many locals to be careful at night because it can be a dangerous area. I think this place is overall okey if your expectations are really low (instead of a 8.6 expect a 6.5). I would say a bit expensive for what it is.
Disliked: I do not like to give bad reviews, because I’m sure behind there are still a lot of hard working people. However, I did not have the experience I was expecting here, especially considering the overall 8.6 score this place has. At my arrival, I was given a room that was quite dirty. There were many hairs on the floor, some on the bed linens, and more I will spare you. I was (kindly) given the opportunity to change room. They gave me three new keys and told me to choose. Of the three rooms only one was cleaned to standard levels, which makes me think that in general this place is quite dirty. The rooms are so basic and small. The complimentary toiletries is a sad little soap tablet. No coffee or tea in the room. The complimentary breakfast was quite the joke. Really small (a cup of drip coffee or tea, a small glass of juice and a choice of plate (things like 2 eggs or a small sandwich), and the service was so slow that one morning I just had to leave (after 20 minutes of wait and despite telling them I was on a hurry). They had not even brought me the coffee.

Superb
Liked: The Hotel is in a great location. It is walking distance to bakeries, restaurants, sushi, central gym which has plenty of machines, historical sites and shopping, as well as super close to the metro. The front desk spoke English and Spanish and was very helpful if you had questions about travel, etc. The Maple Restaurant on premises was great for breakfast which I opted in for on booking. The AC worked great, and my king size mattress was comfortable for sleep. Wifi was excellent. The cleaning person (Victoria) cleaned my room daily for 18 nights, and was super helpful. The room was very quiet at night and I slept well The photographic pictures on my floor of Petra ancient dwelling was a nice amenity This is my second stay in Mexico City and much prefer this Hotel and location

Good Stay in the Historic...
Liked: The room I stayed in was on the third floor with a window to an atrium. It was a rather small room, but it had a desk, clothes hangers, a suitcase rest, a safe, a tv, and many storage opportunities. The walls were solid, and the noise was thus kept in check. I received two bottles of water from the front desk. In the morning, I discovered that the hotel was connected to a restaurant where I could have my coffee. I had requested a ride to a bus terminal upon my arrival the previous night, and it promptly arrived at the stipulated time in the morning. I would definitely pay a repeat visit to this place when I'm back in the DF.
Disliked: I don't have any criticism.
