My partner and I stayed two nights at the Hotel RL (Red Lion) Brooklyn before a DJ Snake concert at The Brooklyn Mirage. If you're unfamiliar with this area of Brooklyn, you may find the location a bit unusual and the rooms a bit small. We had a pleasant stay at an affordable price (for NYC). Hotel RL Brooklyn was perfect for our purposes and a $10 cab ride away from the venue!

Disliked: The hotel had shut down with no warning. We didnt receive any notification and we got there to be told that it had shut and to walk three blocks to another hotel which was expecting us. It wasn’t expecting us

A good stay in Brooklyn

Liked: Good value for money, hotel felt modern and hip. Lots of good eateries around.
Disliked: Neighbourhood could feel a bit dodgy in the evening to those unfamiliar with US cities.
