Liked: Good location just across the road from the mainly pebbly beach. Parking for hotel limited but there are a very few unrestricted parking places close to the hotel. Otherwise there is a privately owned car park very close by where one can park overnight or there are unrestricted roads about 10-15 minute walk away.
Disliked: Trying to charge a phone etc was not as easy as I'm used to. Only 2 plugs in the room (single) one used by small TV and other for kettle.

Superb

Liked: The hotel is situated on the sea front. Easy access to the town and the promenade. Can do long walks from the hotel without a car.The staff is very attentive. There is a car park at the hotel although there is a charge for this.
Disliked: Nothing

Touch of old fashioned luxury.

Liked: Perfect location for Sidmouth town and sea front. Food was lovely, Paticularly liked the meal service. Not a buffet in sight! Nothing was too much trouble, concierge service made our stay special.
Disliked: WiFi in the rooms wasn't very good, better downstairs
