Disliked: We recently stayed at the Riu Hotel in Miami, booking two rooms, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.First of all, several of our valuable belongings went missing during our stay, including my Prada sunglasses, a Sony camera, and $100 in cash, which is completely unacceptable.Our room was extremely noisy, with constant loud street noise and car horns that made it difficult to rest. One of our rooms had a couch while the other did not, which was inconsistent and inconvenient.The front desk staff were neither polite nor helpful, and we felt they lacked professionalism.The beach towels had to be checked out with a card, which you needed to return along with the towel, otherwise they would charge you $10. You couldn’t take extra towels, which was a nightmare for families with kids.The food service was very poor, and about 90% of the staff did not even speak English, making communication frustrating and stressful.Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families, as the service quality and hospitality were far below expectations.
