Hotel Richmond on Rundle Mall

Great experience except the room...

Liked: Location, room size, room appliances (including. Bed) and friendly, helpful staff.
Disliked: The coffee mugs were coated with dust (inside and outside) and the bathroom floor was grubby.

Great hotel in great location

Liked: Room was exceptionally spacious and surprisingly quiet. It was in a great location - right on the mall- near shops, transport and food outlets and within walking distance of Visitor Centre and Central Markets. There were sufficient power outlets in the room. There was a shower and a bath. Biscuits (Tim Tams) were supplied with the coffee in room. The beds were comfortable and block out curtains worked a treat.
Disliked: The room possibly needed a bit of refurb but it was clean and convenient.

Liked: Excellent location
Disliked: The shower leaked so that there was constantly a puddle of water in the bathroom. When it became muddy, we put the sign on the door for a room refresh. The bathroom floor was not cleaned as part of this 'refresh'. However, when I rang reception about it, the young woman on reception came up straight away and cleaned it up herself.

Perfect Fringe accommodation

Liked: We LOVE staying here during the fringe! It is the perfect location!
Disliked: Contradicting 'benefits' of our stay: building construction works were occurring, so they offered a 25% dining discount, but there were events happening in both event spaces so the restaurant was closed, and no breakfast on Sundays, so we weren't even able to use it. We would have just rathered a freebie in our room, or a discount on the room.
