The hotel’s vintage charm is paired with a welcoming atmosphere, making it a perfect home base for a music-focused getaway.

Why Concert-goers love it

Music fans love Hotel Revival’s central location—you’re within walking or short ride distance to venues like M&T Bank Stadium and others in downtown Baltimore. The quiet Mt. Vernon neighborhood helps you unwind after the show, while the hotel’s 4:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM checkout offer flexibility for late nights. On-site parking and access to public transportation make getting around a breeze.

Who this Hotel is great for

What People Say

Guests rave about the hotel’s beautifully designed rooms, helpful staff, and unique vintage aesthetic. Many highlight the rooftop restaurant and views, as well as the convenient location for exploring downtown Baltimore and catching live performances.

Areas for Improvement

While the classical decor is a hit with many, some guests mention the rooms could use a few modern upgrades. Parking is available but not free, so budget a little extra for that. Also, light sleepers may prefer a room on a higher floor to avoid occasional city noise.

The Bottom Line

A stylish, centrally located hotel with rooftop vibes and vintage charm—Hotel Revival is a solid pick for concert-goers looking to stay close to the action without sacrificing comfort.

Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

Christine, Onancock, visiting The Lyric Baltimore Sun, 7 April 2024

Not my favorite hotel. I love classic old hotels, but this one did not impress. Had trouble getting in, no valet to meet us, no covered entrance, pouring rain (not the hotel’s fault, of course) - had to run down to valet. Our room was okay, but temperature wasn’t adjustable. No ice machine, had to call the front desk, someone brought a plastic bag with ice and dropped it on the floor outside our room. (Handing it to me with a smile would have been much better). We were concerned about the area around the hotel, so never walked anywhere, instead called Uber. The lobby was dated, dark, low ceilinged and depressing. The grab and go cafe didn't even have coffee available until 7:00 am, so we headed out to an early appointment without coffee. The 'Speakeasy' bar didn’t open until 7:00 pm, so went up to the rooftop bar for appetizers and drinks, which were expensive, but the view was nice. After the concert, we wanted to have a nightcap in the 'Speakeasy' bar, it was fairly early but bartender allowed us one drink because he’d already made Last Call and was preoccupied with cleaning up and preparing to close. Overall, not really the cool old hotel vibe I was hoping for, more like dark, dated, not great service, crappy entrance with no cover, and sketchy neighborhood. We loved the show we went to, but will pick a different hotel next time.

Liked: The city view was nice, we were on the 10th floor.
Disliked: No covered entrance; dated low ceiling-ed lobby; hard to find your way around to the bar and restaurant. Coffee not available until 7:00; we had an early appointment, so didn’t get coffee.

My truck was turned over to the valet and within hours, the window had been smashed and items stolen. Found out today from hotel insurance that they won't cover the cost, so going on my insurance and coming out of pocket for deductible.

Liked: Rooftop Restaurant.
Disliked: Truck was vandalized in their 'secure' parking garage.

Liked: The hotel staff were great, and the hotel was just perfection. Beautiful, clean, spacious—and dog friendly.
Disliked: The staff at the cafe (I don’t know if it’s affiliated)—but I got a coffee from there in the morning and the young woman behind the counter was cold and rude: So, wouldn’t go to the cafe the next time I’m there….but absolutely loved the hotel and staff at reception.

Incredible from start to finish

Liked: This was our second time staying at Hotel Revival. The team consistently exceeds my expectations. I feel like a local when I stay at this hotel because it's clear they're deeply connected and committed to the local community. From featuring local artisans in the lobby for purchase to the local artists featured in each room and the hallway, the experience is purely Baltimore from start to finish. No detail is spared and the attention to each guest is unparalleled. They treated us like family and were incredibly generous with their time and patience for our families unique needs. I can't rave enough about this hotel and I encourage you to see why for yourself.
