A great hotel with very...

Liked: We parked outside and walked around to locate the entrance. The check-in was simple and swift, and the room was great - shutters for overnight to keep out the light and curtains for privacy in the mornings.The reception and restaurant staff were very helpful.All of the anticipated facilities were provided (coffee machine but no coffee, though!) but apart from that, all we could want from a hotel.
Disliked: The underground car park was a little tight getting into and out of (mind your wheels on exit!) and the spaces once in were small, however it was secure and clean and well ventilated, so did what was asked of it!

Liked: The room was very clean, the breakfast was very good, and most of the staff were nice. I also appreciated the free transport in Bern—and the coffee was very good too. :)
Disliked: The lady at the reception seemed a bit lost. On the last day, when we wanted to pay for breakfast, she initially told us that the payment hadn’t been made in full and that we still owed for three more nights—despite the fact that I had already paid the full amount through Booking. I showed her the confirmation, and she realized the payment had indeed been completed.I found her to be unprepared and overwhelmed on more than one occasion, even when we were asking for simple things. Also, I think some of the staff could benefit from improving their English skills
