Liked: The outside.
Disliked: The corridor to the room, first floor, was a safety hazard, with exposed wiring the whole length. Slightly concerning to say the least! We opened the room door to be met with a foisty, unhygienic aroma. The 'bedroom' we could only liken to a 'hostel'. Again, exposed wiring as we entered the room. Never looked in 'bathroom' as we realised this did not reach expectations or indeed inhabitable to a paying guest. To put it bluntly, we wouldn't have left our dog in the room, nevermind a paying guest!! Not sure who has written the previous reviews but no way do they concur with our findings! Genuine reviews?? No mention by staff member before going to room, to say, 'work in progress'.Full refund given.

Good location, rooms could be...

Liked: Could not fault the location, right in the middle of town. Plenty of bars and restaurants right on the door step.
Disliked: No coffee, tea making facilities in the room. Shower was over the bath with no handle to help you in and out of the bath, it was very slippy, not good if you are not very agile. Rooms clean but very tired looking could do with a make over.

Amazing staff, decent food for...

Liked: The location, the room was clean and tidy, the house keep was very kind
Disliked: The smell of urine outside but I don't believe that was the hotels fault

Liked: It's not a chique or fancy hotel. But it's clean, I had a big bathroom, the bed and cushions were perfect and the staff was great! Nice breakfast with warm freshly baked bread, coffee will be made for you at the bar. It was a very rainy weekend and my friend who stayed at the camping could not sleep, we asked to upgrade my room and it wasn't a problem to get her in for the last night. Thank you for that!

Liked: Good location, good price and decent breakfast
Disliked: Curtains in room too short, not a lot of privacy when curtains open in room # 30 , people smoking at emergency exit . Dirty carpets in staircase and some staff members seem not to be interested in guests.
