Fabulous stay in Besancon

Liked: Gorgeous hotel in Besancon just outside the centre. Very near to the Citadelle de Besançon, a UNESCO World Heritage. Very welcoming to us all including our dog and it was the perfect location for us to stay. Comfortable and large room accessible by a little garden.
Disliked: Overall lighting was quite gloomy. Bathroom was very large with not a lot in it.

A comfortable stay in a...

Liked: This is a beautiful hotel. The welcome was very friendly. All the staff seemed so happy to look after us which made it very relaxing. Our accommodation was comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: Hard to think of anything but we would have appreciated some shelves or a cupboard (as well as the wardrobe) so we could unpack our suitcase.

All great except the wifi

Liked: Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, great rooms and facilities. Also, the onsite restaurant was very good.
Disliked: The wifi in the room was not good enough to do even an audio call. Everything else was great, but in 2024 you should have at least halfway decent internet in this price range in my opinion.
