Hotel Restaurant la Sonnerie is a high class and family-run hotel in the city of Son. Relax in the pleasant hotel bar and sit out on the spacious terrace. The tastefully decorated rooms have either a bathtub or a shower. They also have a TV and a telephone. Each room is different in style but equally charming. There are 2 beautiful honeymoon suites for newlyweds and couples. The bar and lounge are a perfect place to relax after a tiring ride a hectic meeting or a long walk. There is an open fire providing a cozy feeling and coffee is made fresh for guests. The French element of this hotel is apparent from the cuisine. The restaurant has a high reputation thanks to the French and Dutch cooking of Chef Hans van de Loo. The dining area has a lovely atmosphere. Have some coffee and cake or sample great dishes prepared in the special brasserie kitchen. In the summer you can enjoy eating out on the spacious terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire hotel. In addition there is also free private parking on site. There are plenty of things to do in the area. Go for a pleasant day of shopping in Eindhoven or pay a visit to one of the museums. If you like to spend time outside take a refreshing walk in the surrounding woods. Good stay and a pity...

Liked: Room was very large and functional. Breakfast was good and breakfast room had good ambiance
Disliked: Because of old function (Monastry and school) the whole building looked very functional and lacked a bit ambiance, especially the rooms and the entrance area. Not really a problem but for the price being charged it was quite expensive.

Liked: Cozy hotel and excellent breakfast. Well located and good value for the money.
Disliked: The lightning conditions and decoration of the bedrooms would profit from a renovation.

Not a good value for...

Liked: I liked really friendly staff, great location and breakfast buffet
Disliked: I didn't like value for money aspect. The room was not cozy, lighting was poor, cleanliness was just ok. There was no kettle to make tea or coffee in the morning

Liked: Love the atmosphere, great rooms , garden and free parking. Check in & out is efficient and done with a smile. Beware of the steep stairs
