Hotel Renoir Montparnasse

Tiny rooms without elevator.

Liked: The location and price were great.
Disliked: The guy who checked us in was very nice but gave us the wrong room, which would not have been such a big deal if we hadn't checked in at midnight, were sent to the second floor without an elevator, carrying heavy suitcases, and had already folded out the sofa bed for the kids when we got the call that we would have to move everything one floor down. The new room was a little smaller, we had to pull out the sofa bed again, the door to the bathroom barely opened because the sofa bed was blocking it and there was a weird mold/fecal smell in the bathroom. Thankfully we were only staying one night.

Disappointing

Liked: The location is brilliant, on a cute street, up the road is loads of cafes and a supermarket. 5 minutes walk to the main metro station. I would stay in this area again not the hotel.
Disliked: Hotel rooms are not like in pictures! Everything had stains on it, curtains, headboard floors.shower had no pressure. Electric plug sockets not working.No shower towels in bathroom. No fan in bathroom. Smelt strange. Had breakfast, went in the morning, didn't go for the rest of the trip . This hotel is not worth 3 stars.

Always a great time

Liked: I've stayed at this hotel twice now and I'll be back! It's always clean and great value for money. Location is perfect and staff are really nice. If you're wanting a no fuss stay in Paris I'd recommend it.
Disliked: The air-con didn't work that well on third night here but every other night was ok... Might have been user error lol
