Acceptable and suited our purpose...

Liked: Location, staff and basic facilities good. Easy parking and access to Skipton.
Disliked: Vinyl sheet floor coverings in rooms are hard and give a basic feel to the accommodation. Fittings in the bathroom feel dated and worn with basin taps and toilet flush not really working properly although just about acceptable. Food menu for dinner is a bit limited and portion sizes perhaps a little on the small side.

Liked: Excellent staff, good breakfast, dinner wasn't bad. Had a lovely view over the canal from the room.
Disliked: Room was a little bit jaded and would benefit from an upgrade

Liked: The majority of staff were excellent . Breakfast was very good.
Disliked: The beds were too hard and the studio rooms could do with an upgrade. Drinks were expensive and one barmaid seemed miserable in her job which reflected in her attitude. Could be a brilliant hotel with an overall upgrade but for the cost we expected more.

Fantastic stay

Liked: Location is excellent. Beautiful walk along the canal into Skipton if you wished or a short drive. The staff are all absolutely fantastic. Can't say a bad word about them. Super helpful and lovely to chat to.
Disliked: Pool area is a little dated, could do with a revamp. But isn't a hindrance to stay.

Liked: This was our third stay and we spoke to several others in the hotel who also had multiple visits. Overall a very friendly hotel from the receptionist to every member of staff we encountered.
