Exceptional

Great hotel in a great...

Liked: Location- close to everything in the French quarter but nice and quiet. Comfy clean room. Courtyard was peaceful. Pool! Although we didn’t have time to use it. Valet parking on site.
Disliked: There are several buildings which isn’t clear when booking. We were in a room at the back of the property which isn’t on the courtyard as advertised. This wasn’t an issue but we didn’t feel completely part of the hotel if that makes sense. Valet parking very expensive - cost over $100 for 2 nights.

Liked: Location was excellent. Staff was very friendly. We arrived two hours early to check in and they let us check in anyway. Very accommodating staff.

Liked: Location is perfect for walking
Disliked: Noise. If you end up on the back left side of the property, it’s very loud. We had to switch rooms after the first night of no sleep. The staff was accommodating and we moved to a courtyard room. Those rooms are excellent!

Very good

Liked: Great history, friendly and helpful staff, nice little bar, perfect location between Bourbon st and Frenchmen st. A pool!!!!
Disliked: Only thing would be to have an exit towards the French market. We were in the 500 building, and found it convenient to exit thru French Toast. But after they closed, we had to walk all the way around. Also pricing was twice as much bc of Jazz fest vs any other weekend.
