Very disappointed I picked that...

Liked: Location
Disliked: 1. Room size is tiny, good enough only for 1 person, for the same price we stayed at other place with 2 rooms. So your pictures on booking.com and google look completely different, way better than in reality.2. Very dark in the room, the window faced the stairs where other people walk, so it is covered with shadows.3. The worst part is that every morning at around 6am they take out trash containers but the road is old and made of rocks or bricks so it is very very loud when they rolling the containers, not possible to sleep. It should be done later in the day or find the other road to let people sleep.

Perfect hotel for staying in...

Liked: Loved the location - being right in the French Quarter meant we could walk everywhere. The bed was comfortableMost of the staff were super helpful and lovely, with great recommendations for the local area and offered to help book tours etcFree coffee Good wifiThere was a swimming pool
Disliked: Some staff seemed disinterested in helping customers, e.g. when we were asked if we wanted help with our suitcases on our arrival and we said yes, please - we were told "the stairs are over there", and the guy promptly turned around and walked off. Really weird. The room was rather dark and didn't quite look like it did in the photos. In the photos, there was nice wooden floor, and we arrived to a carpeted room, which is always a bit off-putting. There was no window - just a venetian blind door, which felt a bit odd. We faced the swimming pool, and it would probably have been nicer to face the court yardThe lobby and courtyard looked rather spacious in the photographs, while both are very small in reality - some more realistic photos would have been goodThe bathroom wasn't great and could do with a refurb. There is no door to the sink area (there is to the bathroom/toilet), which means if one person goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night and turns the light on, they'll wake up the other person. I would have preferred a bit more privacy. No restaurant or breakfast area

Frozen food

Liked: Good location
Disliked: No complementary water provided in the room. The almost inaccessible fridge, wedged between the bed and the wall, froze all our fruit and salads overnight, which we had stored for our train journey..
