Pleasant hotel but rather pricey
Liked: Traditional Bavarian Hotel with lovely wooden furniture and pleasant decor.Rooms are spacious and quiet.An honesty bar is in reception.
Disliked: Lack of bottled water daily, particularly for the price of the room at over 350 euros per night. Reception were quite defensive when I enquired why this is, although they did later provide another bottle.There was no mini fridge in the room.We were left only 2 sachets of coffee, 1 decaf & 1 normal. What would happen if we had both wanted decaf? Again for the price of the room I would expect at least 2 of each so that we could both of had coffee.The glasses we had used on our 2nd nights stay were not washed up they were where we left them which is quite a basic daily service.

Very positive experience.

Parking is free, or free...
Liked: There are many middle-end capacities in Munich, and elsewhere as well. But it is not just about the facility's ability to fulfil guests' needs - it is also about the personnel. It is indeed a pity that I am giving such a poor grade to the facility, but it is actually a grade to the front-office person, and to the overall attitude felt.
Disliked: My staying was overshadowed by the unprofessional behavior of the young male receptionist. His rude attitude and lack of basic customer service were completely unacceptable.Hospitality starts at the front desk, and unfortunately, this experience was a reminder that no amenity can make up for being treated poorly. A small "hint" or a teaching moment for a young receptionist to become senior, or for a boy to become gentleman (take it as you want)... respect is respect is respect. If this is too hard, then go with a general rule for the service industry: guest is always right.

Exceptional
Liked: The room was very nice, in traditional style, clean and tidy. There were also some policies of the hotel which indicated a mindset orientated to sustainable tourism. We loved it.

Great room but average location
Liked: Spacious and clean room
Disliked: Average location if travelling with public transport (30 mins train from Hbf + 10 mins walk from train station)Not many options of food around & the restaurant at the hotel is quite full booked

Great value. Nice facilities and...
Liked: Great place with a wonderful restaurant serving good food from Bayern in above quality of most restaurants we tried. Excellent breakfast and overall great value. Close to the Muenchen Messe and by car 15-20 min from downtown Munich.
Disliked: Automated checking a bit cumbersome. But nothing to complain about.
